About Me

Companies don't change,
because it's planned.
They change because they have to.

I didn't learn transformation from theory – but in situations where a lot was at stake.

I have experienced what it feels like,
when a startup goes bankrupt.
When uncertainty becomes tangible.
When teams need guidance.
When a vision suddenly becomes a means of securing one's livelihood.

And I have experienced what it means to stabilize, restructure, and realign a company.

This period fundamentally shaped my view of companies.

Transformation is not a PowerPoint project.
Restructuring is not an Excel spreadsheet.
Growth is no accident.

It is leadership. It is structure.
It's a consequence.

I have accompanied organizations through very different phases:

From a technology-driven startup with 260 employees and €30 million in revenue, which had to grow from a pioneering spirit to a professional organization.

From an international engineering company with €400 million in revenue and 3,000 employees, which wanted to grow profitably while simultaneously realigning its structure.

From classic mechanical engineering structures to software-driven business models.

From fragmented M&A units to integrated, manageable organizations.

I know:

  • Growth chaos

  • political tensions in organizations

  • operative overload

  • lack of clarity regarding roles and responsibilities

  • and the harsh reality of EBIT targets

And I know how to develop structure, focus, and results orientation from that.

Because many SMEs and startups find themselves at precisely these junctures. Too big for improvisation, too small for huge consulting teams, and too important to make the wrong decisions.

I founded scalionblue to address exactly that:

Pragmatic. Structured. Implementation-oriented.

From a clearly prepared workshop to intensive support over several months. Not as an external consultant with a distance – but as a temporary partner with genuine responsibility.
